A collection of handwritten letters from constituents to Haugen during his time as a representative of Worth and Winnebago counties in Iowa's 25th General Assembly. Most of the letters urge Haugen to vote in favor of the woman suffrage bills introduced in the House -- one to amend the 2nd article of the Iowa constitution and one to grant women the right to vote in municipal and school elections.
